Q: Symptoms – Headache, nausea, fatigue, unexplained bruises, loss of appetite, etc.?!?
So I’ve been feeling all of these symptoms lately and I was just hoping that maybe some of you health gurus out there would have any idea. My current theory is that it’s just stress, but I don’t really know.
But yes. My headache is fairly constant, though it fluctuates in the amount of pain. At it’s worst it is sharp and debilitating, usually around the side of my head and behind my eyes (though it varies.) I’m also nauseous a LOT, which may or may not be related to my loss of appetite. In addition I’ve been noticing random bruising along my legs and some on my arms that I can’t explain (and I don’t bruise easily!). I’ve also been really tired and weak feeling, and occasionally I’ll start shaking slightly to the point where it’s noticable to other people.
Any ideas? I don’t think it’s serious enough to go to a doctor, I mean they’re just gonna tell me it’s stress anyway.
Oh, I forgot insomnia. Well, the word insomnia may be a bit over-kill but I am definitely having trouble falling asleep at night. Which is weird because I am so exhausted all the time!

A: I think it’s aplastic anemia…http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/aplastic-anemia/DS00322/DSECTION=symptoms

No matter what it really is, time to get to the doctor…try an internist (an internal medicine doctor that is for adults only and looks at a problem in it’s entirety)

Q: Can anyone explain these symptoms, nausea, headaches, weakness, and dizzyiness?
i’m 13 and i just woke up with these symptoms. i’m so dizzy that i almost fell down. no, i’m not drunk. i have on and off nausea.

i am not congested, have no cough, sore throat, or any typical symptoms that would point to a cold, flu, sore throat, or strep

A: its the flu and it last 2 weeks or sometimes 3

Q: Why do i have pregnancy symptoms( nausea, headaches, constipation) if 2 tests say negative and i had a period?
I and sex on Sunday October 19th, My period was due on October 27th but it came on Monday October 20th and it lasted for 3 days. Light the first day and heavy for two days. After it stopped i started feeling nauseous every day throughout the day, constipation, and i just recently started have headaches. My emotional state is out of control. My BF is noticing that I’ve been really weepy for about a week. I took a test on October 26th at 9pm at night and it said negative. So i took another on Tuesday October 28th and it also said negative. This test was not an early response test though. Its Thursday October 30th and i still feel all the symptoms and now i have gas too! I know i need to go see my doctor but im afraid of bad news. Did i test too early??? Could i still be pregnant after a period if i had sex one day before it came? And 2 negative test around the time my period was supposed to come?(Oct. 26-28 was my period due date) I took the test on Oct.26th and 28th) Please tell me what YOU think i can ask my doctor later…thanks

A: its too early to take a test its going to come out neg..i would say go get a blood test or wait a few more weeks and take another hpt .. its possible u can be preggo.. good luck

Q: what symptoms include nausea, headaches, fatigue, disorientation and being tired?
I have not been feeling well for the last week or so. I am very tired (ie, coming home after work and sleeping until time to get up for work the next morning), I have been nauseaus at night, I have been very fatigued and almost flu like and today it was worse than ever.

A: It could be anything from pregnancy to a virus. The best way to find out is to go see your doc and get checked out.

Q: what is wrong with me? Headache & nausea no cold symptoms?
I have been feeling not quite right for 3 days now. My head really hurts, it feels like there’s alot of pressure on my forehead mainly. Everytime I bend down, it adds to the pressure and then i get severe pain on my forehead.
I feel dizzy when i stand up, and when i lay down it hurts at the back of my head for a while then it slowly dies down.

I do not have a cold. I don’t have a runny nose or any other cold symptoms. It is only my head that seems to be affected.

What is wrong with me please help?!

A: There are a number of possibilities, so it is really impossible to say what is the cause. What I can do is give you some good natural remedies for headaches and migraines.

Chronic migraines can be a sign that the body is deficient in the minerals magnesium, calcium and iron. Eating more dark greens are good for these minerals. Also start trying to include seaweed like Nori, hijiki and wakame into your diet. They are rich with these minerals and other nutrition.

Try hydrotherapy with aromatherapy. Prepare a hot bath with and put a few drops of lavender and peppermint essential oils into the bath. Also prepare 4 drops of each together with 20 drops of olive oil and rub on temples. Get into the bath and take a long relaxing “holiday in a bath”.

As a herbal remedy try feverfew. It has been found to be as effective as many over the counter pain relievers for chronic headaches and migraines. Take 100 milligrams a day in capsule form.

Ginger tea has also been found very effective.

Q: What causes these symptoms of heat stroke:nausea, disorientation, headache, and low blood pressure?
and why don’t people sweat when they have heat stroke? what causes it?

A: They sweat all right, and the heat stroke follows. One big mechanism is the loss of sodium. Salt tablets can prevent or cure the condition very nicely.

Q: Could there be something more than my Celiac disease causing painful symptoms? stomach pain, nausea, headache?
Over a month ago I was diagnosed with Celiac disease and began a strict gluten free diet. I still have stomach pain, nausea, headaches and severe fatigue almost all the time. I am only 16 years old and have a very healthy diet. My doctor reccomended staying away from dairy for a few months because celiac disease can cause temporary lactose intolerance that can contribute to symptoms. I’ve cut out dairy for weeks and feel no better. Is it possible that there is something else contributing to my pain like some other disease or condition? The doctor has no idea why I am feeling so much nausea and said that after less than a month most people who have Celiac disease feel much better. I don’t. Sometimes I have these really painful gas pains in my intestine on the left side and I have felt my stomach and it feels like my intestine is hard and lumpy on the left side.

A: I would say give it more time. Most celiac patients see relief in 2-6 weeks, HOWEVER it can take soem months, even years to heal the damage to the intestines. I assume you had blood work and/or an endoscopy ti diagnose the Celiac and your doc is familiar with Celiac and all its applications?
You could be eating gluten and not realize it. It can take much time to learn all the names for gluten and learn how to follow the diet.
Also, cutting out the gluten and the dairy can be quite a shock to your system and in turn cause the nausea, etc. Especially if u are replacing the dairy with soy, which can cause these symptoms in some ppl. And fake sugars (often found in “health” foods) can cause the symptoms listed.

I would say give it some more time and then see your doc again. He should do follow up blood work and possibly a secondary endoscopy to assure your villa are healing anyway.
These sites should help, feel free to email me for further info.

Q: i have symptoms nausea (throw up few times),headache, joins pain, weakness.. what kind of sickness do i have?
is it food poisoning or i caught some sickness from the dinner we had with friends because we all used the same spoon and fork to eat and took the dishes… can it be hepatitis A or any other virus?

A: it’s probably this winter sickness bug that’s been doing the rounds just now.Has the same symptoms as flu

Q: Can I be pregnant?Symptoms:headaches, fatigue, nausea, and lower backaches, but my period was a little early.?
My fiance says that I am pregnant but I’m not sure. I have been having symptoms for the last 3 weeks. My period last month was a little early and it was shorter than usual. As the days go by the worst my nausea gets.I also want pickles with everything I just about eat. I just wanted advice from other females. Thank you.

A: if in doubt take a test. stranger things have happened. at least you will know one way or the other. not knowing would drive me crazy.

Q: Do these sound like early pregnancy symptoms?
Ok The first day of my last period was August 12. My period is due on Sept. 9th. I have been having the following symptoms: Nausea, headaches, lower backache’s, moodiness, cravings for pickles (yes pickles), breast pain, cramping, frequent urination, not being able to sleep well and feeling very tired. I stopped taking my BC on August 6th…is it possible to be pregnant already?

A: They could be pregnancy symptoms, especially if they are not what you experienced during AF. Test on the 10th for clearer results. I tested 4 days after AF was due & got a BHP. Good luck

Q: How do the symptoms of a concussion, like nausea, headache, neck pain and irritability, last?

A: i’ve had a few real bad concussions, and after the last one, when i wrecked my pickup truck, it really f***ed me up, i’m pissed off all the time, i have ocassional seizures, and have difficulty remembering stuff. the nausea, headache and the rest can last for a few weeks, and if you have liquid coming out of your ear, you got to go to the hospital right away. Strictly sucks.

Q: Can a neighbor’s exhaust fumes cause carbon monoxide symptoms?
I live in a seniors mobile home park, and my mobile home is rather old and has no A/C. I have a neighbor who had someone start an old car of hers the other day, and she left it running for over an hour. I could smell exhaust fumes all through my house.

For the rest of that day and the following, I had vague symptoms — headache, slight nausea, light-headedness. Shortness of breath, though some of that’s expected during allergy season. I felt very lethargic.

I’m fine now. Might this have been CO, or was it possibly just the general heat or a bug of some kind?

Best guess, please.

A: Yes it could have been carbon monoxide you need to get you a detector they are not that expensive and I know from past experience that if you leave a car open and the fumes enter your house it will set the alarm off. Them you get out and report neighbor to cops or fire department.

Q: I have the symptoms of pregnancy but I have taken 2 tests and they are negative. HELP?
My last period was 2 weeks ago, my tubes are tide, and 2 tests say negative. My symptoms are: nausea, headache, funny taste in mouth, cramping(lower pelvis, like period cramps), sensitivity to smell and light. What else could it be or should I take more tests? I have no insurance so I can’t go to the doctor.

A: Hi I am no expert and look it up for you on google it says you can deffiently can still get pregnant even if your tubes are tied. When you have done the test it may have been too early to tell if you are or not. The best thing to do is go and speak to either your DR’s or speak to some one at the pharmisty and they would be happy to help. The other thing you can for advice is phone the NHS Direct and they are very helpfull. If you need the number just let me know. good luck with everything, hope you get the result you want.

Q: can nausea, constant headaches, and diarrhea be symptoms of pregnancy?
i know that nausea is a symptom of pregnancy but what about the other two? i have had diarrhea for two days, and have a constant headache for like the past week straight and nothing will get rid of it. also i woke up this morning with a temp of 96.5 and have felt like throwing up all day. i had something that i think was implantation bleeding about a week ago so i am getting a test friday when my hubby gets paid.

A: Do you normally have a very low temp? Nausea and headaches are symptoms of pregnancy (though even non-pregnant people get those). And I used to be constipated, but now I’ve more loose stools too. I’m now 14 weeks pregnant, and ever since a month and a half ago, my basal temperature has always been over 98.2 degree F. A temperature of 96.5 is pretty low for pregnancy, unless you’re used to having much lower basal temperature in the past.

The most accurate way is to have blood test to test your hCG level.
