Q: Symptoms of being tired, dizzy, headache?
It started yesterday, I woke up very tired and I could barely stay awake. If I try to stay up to eat or anything I get a bad headache and I get dizzy, so I’ve just been sleeping most of the day. Can anyone tell me if I should see a doctor or what might be wrong?
A: Are those your only symptoms? It could be an ear infection or the beginnings of the flu. If you have a bad sore throat also, it could be mono. I would take L-lysine (vitamin) and a mulit-vitamin. If you don’t feel better by tomorrow afternoon, I would make an appointment to see the doctor. I hope you feel better.
Q: Yesterday, I was having some weird symptoms such as gasping for breath, dizzy, headache, tiredness.?
it also feels like there was a lot of weight over both my shoulders. It felt horrible to the point where I was going to pass out. But I did not because I just stuck with it until I got home and rest. I sorta just slept it off and felt a lot better. Not sure what it was. But this is the second time I had this experience. Does anyone know what this is that I am feeling? Your suggestions are much appreciated.
yes, my face was sweating and I felt like I was burning up, but underneath where my neck was, it was really cold. I worked in the store so room tempature was fine, but I did drink water and felt a bit better. however, I still had the same syptoms for a while until I got off work.
A: Please see your doctor, it could be cardiac or a lung problem like a clot, please see your doctor and if any of these symptoms get worse go to the ER
Q: Dizzy, blurred vision, headache, and nauseated… what could all these symptoms could mean?
Past few days I’ve been having these weird symptoms like dizziness, blurred vision, headache, and nausea… I asked this one place and it said it could be high blood pressure but I’m only 16 and pretty sure I’m too young for high blood pressure… I know its not from drugs because I don’t do drugs or alcohol and I know its not pregnancy symptoms because I’m sure as hell am not pregnant (unless I’m the new virgin mary lol). I was just wondering if these symptoms could mean anything serious or should I just not worry about it and see if they go away soon?
I’ve been eating normally and drinking normally and well doing everything like I normally do… Thats mostly why I’m weirded out by this, its like I haven’t changed anything I eat/ drink and yet I have these symptoms…
I’ve told my parents and they say not to worry about it…. Thats why I’m kind of trying to get information on here so to see if it can be anything I can treat by my self… But thank you to all of you!
A: Headache and nausea could be anything – what I am concerned about is the dizziness and the blurred vision – I could tell you what it could possibly be but I don’t want to scare you
Tell your parent/s whats happening = they need to take you to the Md as soon as possible – or at least call them and tell them what is happening
Q: What would feeling hot, getting dizzy, blurred vision followed by a headache be a symptom of?
She explained it as not feeling present at the current time also she has headaches often. She had surgery 3 years ago because of khiari malformation. This is the second time in 3 months that she has had this episode.
A: pregnant?
or probly something from the surgery?
Q: Is it possible to have a nauseating headache that makes you dizzy?
Those are my symptoms.
It’s like, near my temples, and on the top/sides of my head.
I’m dizzy just sitting.
Is this possible for a headache? And how can I treat it?
A: Sounds like a migraine. Sorry.
Probably shouldn’t be on the computer.
Take something to help the headache, get an ice pack and lay in a quite, dark room till the throbbing calms.
Q: what could i possibly have if i have these symptoms?
I just wanted to know if anyone knows what i could have if im feeling these symptoms:
headache
dizzy
minor heart pains
stomach ache
cramps
a little bit of throwing up
and burning up
i have been feeling like this for a while which is why i am concerned
also i have ear aches and alot of noises bother my ears make me dizzyer
A: There are a lot of possibilities. You should see the doctor so he can do the appropriate tests.
Q: these are the symptoms of an ailment. heavy rash and poked chest, fever sweats ,headache ,and dizzy spells?
my coworker had these symptom at work today.
A: I don’t know what a poked chest is, but those are very common symptoms for everything from a hangover to food poisoning to the flu or a heart attack. Are you wondering if he had something contagious? It’s very likely, though anything contagious is typically going to be passed around for anywhere from 24 hours to a week before actual symptoms are present. If your worried about catching something your best bet all the way around is good good hand washing and maybe carrying some antibacterial gel around with you for when a soap and water isn’t convenient. You are way more likely to catch something by touching a contaminated surface and touching your face or mouth than to catch something air born.
Q: I am 10 weeks pregnant now. How to get rid with headache, dizzy and vomiting?
Or else how to ease all those pregnancy symptoms?
A: um sucking on lolipops makes you feel better. They have ones w/ ginger which is suppose to help with the nausea at motherhood. Also my Dr. told me to have a cracker right when you get outta bed in the Am and it worked. Try and have little snacks throughout the day. Hope this helps. After the 1st trimester it gets better.
Q: In the winter, i had 2 episodes of majorly dizzy headache that goes with a fuzzy eyesight.?
Does anyone have the slightest idea of what the symptom could possibly means? The pain was acute and achingly painful. But after a few hours of sleep, i went back to normal.
A: That sounds like it could be migraine. You should try to get your hands on some Midrin. It is the cure-all for anything headache-related for me. In most states it isn’t a fully controlled substance so you can actually get it from one of those new drugstore clinics(like Walgreens take care, CVS minute clinic). Or you can wait and see your regular doctor and ask for some tomorrow. You can also order it online. It’s basically a combination pill with tylenol, a muscle relaxant, and vein adjustor to take away the pain and calm you down.
Q: Why Am I feeling low sugar symptoms: dizzy nauseated sweaty when my sugars aren’t low?
I’ve seeemed to continuously deal with this since last May 2008 when I had my 2nd child. I was told I was gest diabetic with him and after having him i’ve fought low sugar symptoms. Never shaky maybe a little weak but mostly headache and dizzy and tired and wanting to eat us out of house and home every couple hrs as of recently and dr has checked my thyroid blood sugars etc even did a 3hr test a month ago or so and all was normal. Anyone have any idea what else IT could be?? my bp seems ok too. oh and like a sugar level i have felt it at is 104 for example. 72-75 is as low as i’ve seemed to recall ever getting and i feel pretty sluggish then that I can understand.
my sugar levels remain around the level i already said so i seem to feel yucky constantly the last week anyway but at times it seems I eat and the sugar level doesn’t change but yea its odd. CELIAC disease not quite that’s a shitting disorder lol and issue with the small intestine I looked that up. I have no problems with that half of my body
. ty tho.
another UPDATE 6/28/09 – ok reading up on celiac. As far as me eating a lot I do it more so when i get dizzy to get rid of what I am calling a sugar low tho what I read its saying its a lack of carbs but I can eat a ton of carbs that makes no matter. FEEL FREE to IM me: mommy2robndax if you like.
ooops forgot to answer: on medicines no. just my allergy meds zyrtec and flonase.
i also never mentioned diabetes run very strong on my mother’s side of the family. my mom and her sister were hypoglycemic. my gpa was diabetic and obese lost his weight it helped then he died of leukemia. anyway.. and his brother is still alive and insulin dependent as well as one of his grandkids. my great great uncle (gpa and his bro’s uncle) was baaad diabetic on insulin.
one LAST thing.. any gas issue or well i doubt this even affects my problem but i had my gall bladder removed 2yrs ago.
A: Sounds like a condition known as “metabolic syndrome”.
Q: Very Dizzy, slight headache, and shortness of breath?
I am a 23 year old female, and i have been experiancing dizzy spells, a slight headache, and shortness of breath for a few days now. Let me mention right upfront that I am a smoker, about half a pack a day. These symptoms are really bothering me and im not sure what I should do.. I feel okay besides everything else. What is wrong with me!!! Please help!
A: Quit smoking gurl! lol smoking inhibits vitamin absorption….one in particular B12 and that can cause dizziness, headaches and shortness of breath. It also inhibits absorption of vitamin C, D and E and god knows what else essential for health. But smoking alone is damaging your lungs so that could be causing shortness of breath. Withever way the problem comes back to that cancer stick.
Q: Symptom: Headache, stomach ache, dizzy and breathing difficulties?
Hi all,
I’ve a female friend who always have headache, stomach ache, feeling dizzy and recently just told me about breathing difficulties. She can’t breathe hard cos’ when she does, she will feel a slight pain in her chest. Headache started long time ago but as for stomache ache, I’m not very sure.
She is kind of girl who only active at night and sleepy and weak in the day. She always stay up late till midnight and slept around average of 3 am. She seldom drinks water and are picky at food. She doesn’t like to eat stalk of vegetables, tomato, milk and food that are nutritious, etc. She always like to help people more that taking care of herself. I can feel that she something might be over-straining herself. Please help her.
I’ve found 2 articles most relavent:

I’m not sure about the problems and eager to find out the possible solutions. I need your help. Thanks alot!
Only recently that she starts to eat little. Easily gets full.
A: Other than the breathing difficulties, her symptoms are coming from not eating enough and not drinking enough water. When I get too busy to eat or drink, I get the same way. When I’m dehydrated, I get really bad headaches and sick to the stomach. When I don’t eat, I get shaky and weak. She also could have a blood sugar issue as a result from this.
I would take her to a dietitian. He/she will give her the help she needs. Until then, get her to drink more fluids like juice, water, and powerade. If she doesn’t get help soon, she could develop conditions like diabetes or hypoglycemia (if she doesn’t have them already.) Don’t be offended, but she could also have anorexia nervousa.
Q: What kind of Neurological symptoms do you have with Lupus?
I’m being tested for lupus after being sick for 2 yrs and I have tons of neurological symptoms just wondering if these are common symptoms for lupus. here are my symptoms.
Burning stinging headaches, dizzy, lightheaded, vertigo, seizure type incidents, sharp shooting pains in head, also get weard sensations on my body like warm water pouring on me. Any info will be appreciated. If you have any neurological symptoms from Lupus pleas list them for me. Thanks!
A: Some lupus patients have neurological symptoms, some do not. Lupus symptoms vary widely from patient to patient.
Headaches could be caused by lupus or by Raynaud’s phenomenon or other things. Many lupus patients have Raynaud’s, a condition in which stress or cool temperatures cause the nerves to tell the blood vessels to clamp down and restrict blood flow, usually to hands and feet, but can also cause headaches.
Lightheadedness can be caused by a number of things as well. Lupus patient are often anemic, When you are anemica, there is not enough available oxygen in your blood, which could account for light headedness or dizziness.
Vertigo usually has to do with the inner ear. Lupus can cause inflammation anywhere, including the inner ear.
I am not sure what you mean my “seizure type” incidents. Do you lose consciousness? Do you convulse? Some lupus patients do have seizures. But seizures can be caused by many other things.
Lupus patients with antiphospholipid antibody syndrome (sticky blood) which causes clots may have TIAs or ministrokes. This could account for your head pain and seizure type incidents. Ask to have your blood tested for this.
As for the weird sensations, please find a clearer way to describe that as well. If you tell the doctor that you have “seizure type incidents” and “weird sensations on your body” you are not helping the doctor get to the root cause of your problem. If these weird sensations are painful, you could have neuropathy which sometimes comes with lupus, or diabtetes, or multiple sclerosis, or other things.
As a patient your job is to give the doctor the best and clearest information possible. It is the doctor’s job to connect the dots. A diagnosis of lupus is made based on family history, your medical history, a wide variety of lab tests and after everything else is ruled out. There is no definitive lab test for lupus.
To do your job, keep a symptom journal including
1. a clear description of the symptom
2. when it started
3. how often it happens
4. how long it lasts
5. what makes it feel better
6. what makes it feel worse
7. to what degree does it interfere with your activities of daily living
Then create a concise summary and bring a copy for your doc and a copy for you.
